Welcome to the homepage of the Semmelweis University Institute of Mental Health.

The mission of the Institute is symbolised by a view of the archeological site at Delphi where sanctuary, theatre and stadium can be seen together.

This threefold unity expresses the unity of spiritual, mental and bodily cultures in the preservation of society's mental health.

The Institute thus considers, in addition to its educational programs, the promotion of a culture of mental health and spiritual counselling as part of its mission. Our mental health logo is a stylised expression of our approach.

The Institute of Mental Health is a unit under the direct supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Semmelweis University.

The institute offers the following specialised qualifying and master's programs:

• special qualifying program in mental health
• special qualifying program in spiritual counselling
• program preparing for the qualifying exam in education
• master's program in social work
